Directed by new Director A.C. Manikandan and produced by Saromi Movie Garland ,Route has Kavithran playing the lead along with Madhumitha ( the heroine) and Vijay Babu scoring the music
The movie had umpteen issues before it finally took off the for the shoot. The Producer who had originally agreed to produce the film backed out in the last minute and then one of the assistant directors Mr Thangapandi stepped in to fill the breach as the producer( though it was beyond his financial capacity) inspired by the lovely script . The heroine who had earlier accepted the role .. walked out of the project in the last minute.Then during the eleventh hour Madumitha was romped in for the heroine's role..And she proved that she was the right choice with a stellar performance on the very first day itself.
