All the four girls are close friends in the film. One of the girls refuses to love a boy who proposes to her. The enraged boy gives her harassment and finals murders her. This is the main theme of the film based on a real life incident.
The film is titled Kannitheevu and directed by Tamil film director Sundar Balu , the one who had directed the Trisha starrer " Garjanai".
