Lack of Theaters for Tamil movie Petta in Telugu:
Superstar's Petta scheduled to be released on 10th January world wide..will be released in lesser number of theaters in Andhra compared to Tamilnadu. On the same day..N.T.R..., the film featuring Balakrishna and Vinaya Vidheya Ram the movie having Ramcharan in the lead are also being released in more than 90% of the theaters. So Petta will have to be satisfied with lesser number of theaters in Telugu on its release date. Earlier there was a move to postpone the release of the movie in Telugu to 26th when it could be released in more number of theaters But since the Producers were determined to release it on the same day worldwide in all languages.. Tamil movie Petta will hit the screens in Andhra as scheduled in lesser theaters compared to its Tamil Counter part.
However in Tamilnadu as Petta clashes with Thala Ajith's Viswaasam for the 1090 theaters in Tamilnadu.. efforts were on by theater owners to postpone the release of either of the films to stem the fall in collection of any of the films in the heat of the neck to neck competition. And it was expected that the release date of Viswaasam would be postponed. However the producers of Viswaasam too are bent upon releasing it on 10th January as scheduled. The good news is the response for both films are highly encouraging. We wish both the films all success and the fans of both the stars happy viewing..
