After that director Venkat Prabhu becomes notable director in this generations. Now he again team up with same team again to give the sequel of Chennai 600028 . Now we can see how it satisfies the fans of first part.

The basic storyline of Tamil Movie Chennai 600028 second innings is same chennai sharks team after 10 years they all become family men. Raghu ( Tamil Actor Jai) plans to marry his lover so they all go to theni with their family. At that time they face a clash with marudhupandiyan ( tamil actor Vaibhav) due to their friend Aravind . That creates a problem for Raghu. What happens to Raghu marriage ? How did they come across it? See it in theatre near.

We can surely say Tamil Director Venkat Prabhu is not back with bang but back with his gang. From the opening till the end comedy scenes rule the theatre . First half runs as fast were we cant notice how did the time go. While at second half two songs and first 15 minutes feels laggy but after that movie engages every audience and finish at unexpected point.

Casting aspect Jai , vaibhav, shiva rules the screen especially vaibhav as marudhupandiyan gives his best performance. As this is the tamil debut movie for Tamil actress Sana Althaf, and the way how she has been introduced with the special buid up by one of the big directors of Tamil cinema industry, Venkat Prabu, she would be expected as one of the demanding heroins of Tamil cinema in upcoming movies if she develop her acting and lip sync in Tamil. As usual Premji amaran does a supporting role but comparing to previous venkat prabhu movies in this movie he comes in less number of scenes and at remaining scenes he just fills the frame , Anyway that too makes movie so entertaining. Other casting roles and re entry of characters from previous part have given their best.

While looking at Technical aspect Tamil Music Director Yuvan Shankar Raja masterpiece of this movie . His songs and bgm holds the movie to next level. Especially the bgm for vaibhav and Tamil actor Jai love failure bgm noticeable one. Cinematography is perfect . Editing some scenes could have been trimmed.

Overall Venkat prabhu scores century in first innings and scores Double century in his second innings.
